When to people are truly made for each other, it becomes the simplest of things to see love in every moment between them. A day full of these moments came to pass on October 4th 2013. Sean Louis and Sara gave me the privilege of photographing their wedding day and I couldn't be happier that I was there to preserve these amazing moments. After having such a great time with them at their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be even more amazing.
When I arrived, Sara was surprisingly calm and mellow for a bride on her big day! A constant smile on her face made me calm since I usually get nervous to a ridiculous degree when I'm about to shoot a wedding. But not her! Sean Louis on the other hand was a little nervous when I first saw him but that quickly faded away. And by the end of the day, he was in full party-animal mode!
The wedding and reception both took place at The Mill in Spring Lake, NJ. A beautiful and intimate ceremony followed by an awesome reception where friends and family were present with nothing but happiness and joy for the newlyweds. One of the coolest things about this wedding was how Sean Louis and Sara decided expressed their love for each other in some incredibly meaningful ways. Of course they wrote their own vows, but they also included traditions that they felt were appropriate for expressing their love and commitment. These included tying their parents tying their hands together and a ketubah that they designed, built, and wrote for themselves. And all of this with a ton of moments full of love throughout the day. Congratulations to Sean Louis and Sara.
