I met Barb and Phil early this year while photographing the wedding of Maureen and Rob. Phil is Maureen's son and as honored as I was that Maureen had chosen me to photograph her wedding, I was happily surprised when Maureen called me to gift an engagement session to her son and future daughter-in-law.
Barb and Phil decided that Thompson Park in Lincroft was the place for their engagement session, and I couldn't have chosen a better location or a better day to photograph them. It's an absolutely beautiful park and the sunset along with the amazing colors in the sky were the perfect backdrop to photograph this awesome couple. Now I'm always up for a challenge but finding the park is not the one I was looking for; and neither was a race against time while the sun was setting on this fall evening. The temperature was colder than we expected but none of that stopped Barb and Phil. Neither did a hillside of throned bush branches. I'll admit, thats the part that almost took me down.. Almost..
It wasn't difficult at all to get Barb and Phil to show how in love they are. And the fact that they were complete troopers and up for anything made it an awesome experience. Here are some of the images that we captured that night. Congratulations to Barb and Phil.
