Moses Cruz Photography | FAQ's

How would you describe your style?

My style is based around what's important to me. I love romance and passion. I love making romantic portraits for couples.  There will be a wide variety of images captured throughout the day ranging from details to dancing and even formal portraits of the families.  But my passion is finding a creative and beautiful way to visually capture love between two people.

Can we meet with you before the wedding?

Absolutely! Let’s meet! Let’s take a moment to make sure you like being around me since your going to be spending one of the most important days of your life with me following you around ;)

How much time should we allow for pictures?

There are going to be a few different sections of the day that I’m going to be capturing.  One of them is what I refer to as “the portrait section”  Typically you want to set aside at least 1 ½  hours for this section.  It includes a brief time for family formals, a fun section for you and your bridal party, and lastly, a good amount of time to work for some creative images of the newly weds.  In addition to this, I usually recommend that you set aside at least one hour for the groom and one hour for the bride to photograph the prep.

When should we do “the portrait section”?

That depends.  If you’re doing a first look, the best time to do the portrait section is immediately after the first look.  This means you’ll want to do your first look about 2 hours before your ceremony to allow enough time for the portraits and for travel time to the ceremony.  If you’re not doing a first look, you’re going to want to do the portrait section between the ceremony and your reception.  This means you should leave enough time in between the ceremony and reception for the portrait section.

Do you provide video?

I do not. However, I can definitely recommend some great professionals!

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! Wedding albums are such a beautiful way to display your images.  I have a variety of albums available with a variety of options

Will we receive edited images?

Yes!  I edit every image and include it in high resolution in your gallery.  You can download the images, share on social media, and even print your own images!

Can we print our pictures?

Yes! You'll receive an personal use license that allows you to print your images wherever you'd like, as much as you'd like

How long will it take to get our pictures?

Editing is definitely one of the things I do carefully which requires time.  I want your first impression of your images to be perfect. With in the first couple of days after your wedding you'll see one or two teasers.  I typically deliver the full gallery between 6 and 8 weeks after your wedding day. This will usually vary based on the time of year since some months are busier than others.

We love you and we want you to be our wedding photographer.. How do we make that happen?

That's Awesome! First, I'll send you an electronic contract for both of you to sign.  Next, you'll need to submit a retainer to reserve your wedding date. The retainer will be 1/3 of the total cost. Once both of those things are done, it will be official and I'll be your wedding photographer!

How do we pay?

Cash, Check, Credit Card, and PayPal are all welcome!
